On the morning of January 10, the "MAERSK REDWOOD", a 3,500TEU container ship built and delivered by our group's New Yangzi Shipbuilding for the shipowner Japan's LEPTA Company, unmoored and set sail from the shipyard dock and was put into operation of the MAERSK fleet.
"MAERSK REDWOOD" has a total length of 200 meters, a molded width of 36.4 meters, and a molded depth of 20.6 meters. It is classified into the ABS classification society. The ship was delivered via electronic signature. At about 10 a.m. on January 10, representatives from the shipowner, construction supervision team, ship inspection and shipyard gathered at the New Yangzi Shipbuilding Terminal to bid farewell to the maiden voyage.
