The ship started massivesteel-cutting on December 29th, 2021. Through the joint efforts of the shipowner's supervision team, the site office of the classification society andvarious lines of the shipyard, the ship overcame the epidemic situation and the influence of high temperature, and it took 11 months to deliver smoothly.
"MEGHNA VICTORY" is the first ship of a new generationof wide-body Ultramax ship type, which is independently researched and optimized by YAMIC on the basis of the design of Mitsui Shipbuilding "Neo66BC". This ship type is characterized by wide-body shallow draft, largerloading capacity, lower fuel consumption and better economy. As soon as theship design was launched, it was recognized by the market and shipowners, and now it has become another main series of ship types in the field of YAMIC bulk carrier products.
